KOPSC Motorcycle Group’s September Ride to Cape May

The KOPSC Motorcycle Group met for an awesome September ride. The starting location was Granite Run Mall in Media, which was different than our normal starting location in Conshohocken. We had a light crew on this ride with a couple of last-minute cancellations, but I won’t mention any names (Brian and Jim, you know who you are). The real die-hards Glenn B., Barbara B., Keith K., Frank M. and myself all left from Granite Run Mall, and we eventually met up with the other die-hards Chuck R. and Doreen R. in Seaville, NJ. From there we headed to the Lobster House in beautiful Cape May for an excellent seafood lunch on the dock, with great conversation among good friends.

After lunch we rode along the beaches of Cape May, eventually ending up at the Cape May Lighthouse. Can you believe that Doreen and Keith had never been to the Cape May Lighthouse before and that Doreen had never been to the Lobster House? Each of them must be living real sheltered lives! We were certainly glad that the KOPSC was able to expand their horizons!

We took a different way home for most of the return trip; however, it was late in the afternoon, so we were more concerned with getting home at a respectable hour as opposed to taking a different route all the way home. We missed our fearless leader Terry and the others who couldn’t join us. Rumor has it that Terry will be on the October 21st ride come hell or high water (depending on the weather)!
