Paws for the Cause
Dog Walk
Bring your dog out to walk at Paws for the Cause, benefiting Main Line Animal Rescue. If you saw or heard about Oprah’s recent program on puppy mills, this is the organization that was featured on that show. They do wonderful work rescuing and rehabilitating dogs from puppy mills in Pennsylvania. This event is sponsored by Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Valley Forge. The one-mile walk around their corporate park is ongoing from 10 AM to 2 PM, but the KOPSC folks will meet at 10 so we can do a lap or two together. In addition to the walk, there will be free obedience training and nail trims. The event also features contests, food and drinks, goodie bags and ice cream for humans and doggies.
