Learn to Ski or Snowboard

And Improve Your Skills for Free!

Take advantage of free instruction and discounted lift tickets and rentals to learn or improve your skiing and snowboarding! Certified amateur and professional instructors from several Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council (EPSC) teach everyone from first-timers to those making open parallel turns and experienced boarders. Over six weeks, students progress within a structured curriculum based on their ability level, building skills and confidence. The popularity of the program has grown steadily over the last several years because of the high quality of our instructors.

Classes are at Spring Mountain on Monday nights for six weeks beginning the first Monday in January, weather permitting. Registration begins at 5 pm just inside the front door of the lodge and lessons begin at 6:30 pm. Discount lift tickets are $12 and discount rentals are just $8. The minimum age is 15 years and first-time skiers are not accepted after the second week. To sign up, please fill out a registration form in advance.
