Board Elections, Dance Lessons, and DJ!

Our March meeting was yet another success. Before the meeting we had dance lessons with Diane Weinberg and about 26 people shuffling to the Texas 2-step. Additionally, EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) was our guest and they gave a demonstration of 2 types of kayaks and talked about Personal Floatation Devices (PFD). We had 80 members and 3 guests in attendance and everyone had a great time.

The 50/50 had some really great Irish-inspired gifts this month thanks to Brian. We raffled a few bottles of cheer, 2 camelback hydration packs donated by EMS, and cash prizes totaling $110. Winners of the 50/50 were: Stu, Peter, Paul, Dianne, Barbara, Liza, Pat, and Lori. Congratulations to all the winners and remember - you have to play to win!

Next month is elections and a Dance Party with DJ Terry Miller. We will have Swing dance lessons at 6:30pm before the general meeting so come out early and learn a few new steps for the Banquet. We hope you’ll come out and see your friends at the last meeting of the season!

The Jeffersonville Golf Club will serving beer, wine, mixed drinks and an assortment of delectable hot and cold food selections.
