Activities Buzz – Spring is just around the corner!

Looking at all this snow still on the ground makes it hard to believe that spring is only a few weeks away, but it will be here before you know it. Now is the time to begin thinking about our warm weather activities.

Darryl Kunzman will continue to lead Tuesday night tennis this year, with an important change; due to the deteriorating conditions at Norristown High School, play will be moved to the much nicer courts at Methacton High School . Play will begin April 6 at 6PM. Please send email to Darryl Kunzman , if you have any other questions. If anyone is interested in organizing regular play for beginner to intermediate, please let me know.

We will again be offering a series of affordable group tennis lessons at Lower Perkiomen High School (likely on Thursday evenings, but that is TBD). Lessons will start around mid-May. Last year we had two groups of beginners to intermediates and the lessons were a “hit” with everyone. This year we will offer lessons for ALL LEVELS (you can never be TOO good!) The lesson times get snatched up quickly, so in order to reserve our place I need to know how many are interested ASAP. Please contact me if you are interested.

Other regular warm weather activities include golfing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and rafting, just to name a few. It is time to start thinking about scheduling these activities too, so those who are interested please contact me soon to get on the calendar.
