As another summer goes flying by, it will soon be time to say goodbye to some activities until next spring, but welcome the arrival of some other favorites.

Tennis – Thanks go out to Darryl Kunzman for once again organizing a wonderful season, and even getting the weather to cooperate! Last day of tennis for the club will be October 11, since the Methacton courts do not have lights. Darryl will be leading tennis again next season, and we’ll be back on the courts before you know it!

Miss tennis already? Our annual tennis party is scheduled for December 3.

Biking – After stepping up to organize 2 seasons of Saturday bike rides, Liza Fell will be passing the baton to Murray Hadley next season. Thank you Liza for your efforts, and I know we’ll still see you on the trail! Last official bike ride of the season is September 25.

Hiking – Jerry Salomone has volunteered to revive regular Sunday hiking for next season, and is even aiming to get a few in this season, weather permitting. Stay tuned for details.

Dine Arounds – I have been getting some interest in scheduling regular dine arounds again. Since I am way out in Pottstown, and don’t have as much time to organize them as I used to, I’d like to form a Dine Around committee of 3 – 4 members from different areas to share the fun of scheduling these monthly events in various places. Please let me know if you are interested.

Ladies Nights Out – These monthly events are booked through the end of the year, however, it is time to start thinking about the winter months. If you would like to lead a LNO anytime between January – March, please let me know.

Can I have some cheese with that wine? – Would someone please, please, please organize a wine tasting event soon??? These are always popular, fun, and so easy to organize!

As always, I’m interested in hearing your suggestions for events and helping you organize them, so please volunteer to add some more fun to our club!
